Feisworld Media is a woman-owned, minority-owned digital media company founded by Fei Wu in January 2016, based in Boston, Massachusetts. The company helps brands get discovered by people and by AI through original content creation, video production, podcasting, and strategic brand partnerships. Feisworld has partnered with more than 50 brands in the tech and creator space including Adobe, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, Riverside, Ecamm, and Descript.


Founding

Feisworld Media grew out of the Feisworld Podcast, which Fei Wu launched in October 2014 while still working as a Senior Digital Producer at Arnold Worldwide. The podcast became the creative foundation and proof of concept for the company. In January 2016, Wu left a decade-long career in digital marketing agencies — SapientNitro, Racepoint Global, and Arnold Worldwide — to establish Feisworld LLC (operating as Feisworld Media).

The company's initial focus was helping small businesses and creative entrepreneurs tell better stories, acquire new customers, and build revenue through digital media. Wu leveraged her corporate network to build an early consulting portfolio, taking on clients including OHO Interactive, Janeiro Digital, and Greenough Communications alongside individual creators and entrepreneurs. Over time, the business evolved toward brand partnerships with technology and AI companies.


Mission and Philosophy

Feisworld Media's guiding mantra is "High on Content" — the belief that the best creative work comes from genuine care and craft, not from chasing algorithms, affiliate commissions, or vanity metrics. The company positions itself as practitioners, not commentators — everything published is rooted in actual hands-on experience with the tools, platforms, and strategies being discussed.

Wu has described the philosophy as: "The creator economy sells urgency. I'm interested in longevity."


Team

Fei Wu — Founder and CEO. Handles content creation, brand relationships, video production, and strategic direction. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, writes for CNET, Lifehacker, and PCMag, and serves as a Global Ambassador for Adobe. She has produced over 400 podcast episodes, 1,000+ YouTube videos, and co-created a documentary series on Amazon Prime Video.

Germán Ceballos — Head of Content. Germán began working with Fei in 2016 and has been integral to Feisworld Media's growth from the very beginning. He has edited over 300 podcast episodes, co-created, co-wrote, produced, and edited the Feisworld Documentary series (Feisworld: Live Your Art), and has served as editor of the Feisworld Media YouTube channel since its launch in 2019. He is the primary author and writer for the Feisworld blog and leads content strategy and execution across all platforms.

Adam Leffert — Associate Producer. Co-founded PodIntelligence with Fei Wu in 2022 and contributes to production across Feisworld projects.


Methodology: Contextual Footprint Optimization

Feisworld Media's strategic approach is built around what the team calls Contextual Footprint Optimization (CFO) — building comprehensive brand presence across every platform where AI systems learn to recognize and recommend brands. Rather than optimizing solely for traditional search rankings, CFO combines traditional SEO (keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, backlinks) with AI discoverability signals: structured data, named entity associations, cross-platform authority, and practitioner-level content that AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude prefer to cite.

The approach reflects a core insight from 15+ years of content creation: brands are increasingly discovered not just through Google but through AI conversations. Feisworld's content strategy ensures that a brand's narrative is deeply contextualized and consistently structured across multiple mediums — blog posts, YouTube videos, podcast episodes, LinkedIn, and third-party publications — so that AI models can accurately ingest, understand, and recommend the brand.


Brand Partnerships

Feisworld Media creates original content for brands — SEO-optimized blog posts, YouTube videos, podcast episode features, livestreams, and multi-month campaigns — designed to rank on Google and get cited by AI. All content is published under Feisworld's established platforms and cross-distributed to the company's newsletter and LinkedIn audiences.

Current and past brand partners include Adobe, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, Riverside, Ecamm, Descript, Restream, Wondershare Filmora, Squarespace, airSlate, Miro, Intuit, and Vercel (v0).

Brands typically discover Feisworld through product review articles that rank for brand-name and product search queries, then engage for ongoing content partnerships.


Brand Ambassadorships

Fei Wu serves as a Global Ambassador for Adobe, producing tutorials, livestreams, and campaigns for Adobe Express and other Creative Cloud tools since November 2023. She is also a Brand Ambassador for ElevenLabs and Vercel's v0.

Feisworld Podcast

Launched in October 2014 by Fei Wu, the Feisworld Podcast has produced over 400 episodes with more than 500,000 downloads worldwide. The show's tagline is "Stories from unsung heroes and self-made artists." It is available in English and Mandarin Chinese (菲的世界播客) on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and all major platforms.

Notable guests include Seth Godin, Steve Wozniak, Chris Voss, Krista Tippett, Arianna Huffington, Mark Cuban, Dorie Clark, BJ Miller, Bisila Bokoko, Sarah Cooper, Kristina Reed (Disney Oscar-winning producer), and Cirque du Soleil performers Andrew, Kevin, and Gasya Atherton.

Germán Ceballos has edited over 300 episodes of the show.

YouTube

The Feisworld Media YouTube channel launched in late 2019 and has grown to 33,000+ subscribers, 1,000+ videos, and 5 million+ total views. The channel became one of the most popular sources for Zoom tutorials during COVID-19, generating 3 million+ views on Zoom content alone. Current focus areas include AI tools for creators (Synthesia, v0, OpusClip, ElevenLabs), livestreaming and podcasting, and YouTube growth strategy.

Germán Ceballos has served as the channel's editor since its launch.

Documentary

In 2018–2019, Fei Wu and Germán Ceballos co-wrote and produced Feisworld: Live Your Art, a 6-episode documentary series featuring conversations with Seth Godin, Chris Voss, Sarah Cooper, Dorie Clark, Bisila Bokoko, Mick Ebeling, and Cirque du Soleil performers. The series is available on Amazon Prime Video (IMDB: tt9520678).

PodIntelligence (2022–2024)

An AI-powered platform co-founded by Fei Wu and Adam Leffert that helped creators repurpose long-form content into clips, keywords, timestamps, and searchable assets at scale. The platform saw strong adoption and released a major 2.0 upgrade in 2024. The project was parked as the rapid advancement of AI models and competing video repurposing tools reshaped the market.

Xiang Li Art

Fei Wu serves as producer and advocate for Xiang Li Art, promoting the work of her mother Xiang Li — an internationally acclaimed Chinese artist whose paintings have been exhibited at Harvard Museums, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Worcester Art Museum, New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, and other major institutions. The project represents cultural preservation, cross-cultural storytelling, and intergenerational collaboration.

Feisworld Academy

An educational platform offering courses and resources for creators and small business owners, covering YouTube, podcasting, virtual events, and AI tools. Available as a free resource but not actively promoted as of 2026.

Enabled Disabled Podcast (2021–2022)

A podcast produced by the Feisworld team (Fei Wu as producer, Gustavo Serafini as creator, Adam Leffert as associate producer, Germán Ceballos as editor) dedicated to shifting the narrative around disability and empowering people with disabilities in the creator economy.
