How Elgato Products Help Me Deliver Better Content — Every Single Day

At Feisworld Media, I wear many hats: content creator, coach, writer, video producer, podcast host, and collaborator with clients around the world. Over the years, I’ve tested a lot of gear, looking for what truly makes a difference in content quality, productivity, and consistency.

For me, Elgato products have quietly become the everyday essentials that power my work. They’re not flashy for the sake of being flashy — they are reliable, easy to use, and designed with creators in mind. Whether I’m running a livestream, recording tutorials, collaborating with clients, or producing branded video content, these tools elevate my workflow. Let me share what I use and why:

Elgato Teleprompter

This is one of the newest additions to my setup — and what a game changer. With the Elgato Teleprompter, I can maintain natural eye contact on video calls and recordings while staying on script or hitting key talking points. It’s perfect for client work, brand partnerships, and video courses where clarity and connection matter. Setup is easy and the software integration is seamless with apps like OBS, Ecamm Live, and even Zoom.

Wave Mic Arm Pro

There are a lot of mic arms out there — but few match the elegance and flexibility of the Wave Mic Arm Pro. It’s beautifully designed, stays in place, and allows precise positioning of my microphone (Wave 3 mic — more on that below). It keeps my desk clutter-free and lets me adjust things mid-recording without worrying about noise or shake.

Facecam MK2

A great webcam is no longer optional for creators — it’s essential. The Facecam MK2 gives me sharp, crisp video with accurate color, even in challenging lighting. I use it regularly for Zoom coaching calls, livestreams, and course recordings. The software allows for fine-tuned control of exposure, white balance, and more, making it feel like a “pro camera” experience without the fuss.

Facecam Pro

When I want to step things up even further — 4K quality, buttery smooth video — the Facecam Pro is my go-to. I pair it with Elgato key lights and the green screen when creating high-end YouTube content or polished marketing videos. The level of clarity and depth it offers is stunning, especially considering how easy it is to set up and manage via Elgato’s Camera Hub software.

Wave 3 Mic

My main microphone for video, podcasting, and livestreams. The Wave 3 Mic delivers professional sound while being incredibly easy to set up. I love that it integrates with Wave Link software, giving me powerful mixing controls without needing external gear.
Clients have consistently commented on the clarity of my audio on Zoom calls and in video content. It just works.

Green Screen + Green Screen XL

Elgato Green Screen XL gives you a full square 200 cm x 200 cm background — great for full-body shots, standing content, dance, and more movement.
Elgato Green Screen is slightly narrower and shorter — perfect for seated content, webinars, talking head videos, and most desk setups.

Whether I’m recording for a client who wants a branded background, creating tutorial content, or hosting a livestream with a creative visual, the Elgato Green Screen and Green Screen XL give me flexibility. They pop up in seconds, store easily, and deliver perfect chroma key performance. The XL is especially helpful when I want to stand or move a bit more freely on camera.

Stream Deck

If you’ve ever watched me live-switch scenes, trigger overlays, control lights, or launch apps — you’re seeing the Stream Deck in action. This little device has made my livestreaming and video production feel effortless. I have customized buttons for starting recordings, muting my mic, controlling Ecamm Live, and much more. It’s the heart of my creator desk.

There are so many choices, so how can you decide?

Beginner or tight on space?
👉 Go with Stream Deck Mini or Neo — perfect for Zoom controls, OBS scenes, or basic key mappings.

Everyday creator (podcaster, YouTuber, coach, livestreamer)?
👉 Stream Deck MK2 (15 buttons) hits the sweet spot — enough flexibility without being overwhelming.

Want tactile control for audio, lighting, or app parameters?
👉 Stream Deck+ — those 4 dials are incredible for live audio mix, lighting fades, and more.

Running complex multi-app, multi-scene productions?
👉 Stream Deck XL — the 32-button powerhouse. Ideal for high-end livestreams, hybrid events, advanced workflows.

The Neo Family (Neo Lights, Neo Mic, Neo Stream Deck)

I’m currently experimenting with Elgato Neo Family, and I’m impressed. The Neo Lights are compact and beautiful, giving me just the right light for Zoom calls or casual content. The Neo Mic is an approachable, stylish option when I’m on the go or recording in smaller spaces. Neo Stream Deck offers an excellent entry point for creators new to Elgato’s ecosystem — or a lightweight portable option for travel setups. It all integrates beautifully with existing Elgato software.

Collaboration Highlight: Feisworld & Worcester Cultural Coalition

At Feisworld, our heart is community. We’re especially proud of our ongoing partnership with the Worcester Cultural Coalition, led by Fabian Barracks, a creative force and advocate for local arts. Together, we’ve have created videos and livestream events that are enhanced by Elgato gear.

The clarity of my audio through the Wave 3 and crisp visuals via Facecam MK2 have elevated our collaborations. We’ve used these tools to amplify Worcester’s vibrant creative scene and highlight local programs — and I’m deeply grateful for our friendship and partnership. Stay tuned; there’s so much more to come!

Final Thoughts

What I love most about Elgato’s ecosystem is that everything works together. The software is intuitive, updates are reliable, and the hardware is built to last.
As a small business owner and content creator, I want tools that don’t slow me down — that help me deliver stunning, consistent content for my audience and my clients.

For me, Elgato products aren’t just “gear” anymore. They’re part of how I tell stories, how I build trust with my clients, and how I create content that feels elevated and professional — yet still me.

If you’re building your own creator setup or refining what you already have, I can’t recommend the Elgato lineup enough. It’s transformed my workflow — and I think it can transform yours too.
