What should you do? Do you trust this change is permanent?
I’m NOT sure.
I still recommend turning off app automatic updates on your mobile phones, desktop devices where you access WeChat.
If you need to install WeChat on a new device, do it NOW, and then turn off app automatic update.
Trump made the announcement to ban WeChat since early August. We didn’t find out until today, 9/20/20 that this ban is temporarily removed.
Take care everyone! Better to be safe than sorry. Fingers crossed that this change is permanent.
