How to Protect Yourself and Your Money When Marketing and Distributing Your Film

By the time indie filmmakers are finished with their films, it’s time to market it to the world. Often, marketing happens WAY before the film is finished (as it should). I want to share my experience as a first-time indie documentary filmmaker – the rocky road while working with Distribber and how I got out of the dreadful situation without losing a penny. Some filmmakers weren’t so lucky.
Here’s my one sage advice to know before your market your film, or purchase anything to promote your film!
