This is a tough conversation. I tried to put it off as long as I could. While releasing podcast and YouTube series about female entrepreneurship, career freedom, freelancing… a number of listeners and subscribers reached out and specifically requested that I speak directly to being Asian over 35 and childfree.
I didn’t think I was qualified to talk about psychology, but then I realized that we need a safe environment, trust to help each other NOT feel alone again.
Asian over 35 and childfree?
In this video I want to share with you about how I’m dealing with this topic, I am Asian, Over 35 and #childfree. I always wanted a kid or two, but not until recent years did I realize that the process isn’t so straightforward. It isn’t a wish or a to-do you put on a calendar and it’ll just happen.
So many women and families go through hardships of not having children (as well as having children). I want to open up this topic and help others understand how we can treat ourselves and others better by asking the right questions and looking beyond fertility, infertility, adoption to have a better and more fulfilling life.
