As a podcaster, many of us still need to travel for recording.
The setup and what you bring to these recordings are absolutely critical. They have to be lightweight, easy and quick to set up, produce high-quality output. That’s a tall order!
After many experiments, here’s my favorite set up that meets all the criteria.
► Podcast setup ON THE GO
- Microphones I use for podcasting: Audio-Technical ATR2100-USB/XLR (the best starter mic): https://amzn.to/2LevuRU
- Zoom H6 (for traveling): https://amzn.to/2VVoWLD
- Vlog cameras: Canon G7X: https://amzn.to/2zLmCfX (sits nicely on a basic tripod like this: https://amzn.to/2MPDdYL )
- GoPro 7: https://amzn.to/2LgT0MI (great with a travel tripod like this one from Manfrotto: https://amzn.to/2zJ3ejA )
